Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Copywriter is responsible for developing compelling, engaging, and brand-aligned content for advertising and marketing campaigns. This role involves writing persuasive copy for various platforms, including digital, print, TV, radio, and social media, ensuring that messaging effectively resonates with the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Copywriting
- Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for ads, social media, websites, email campaigns, print materials, scripts, and more.
- Develop compelling taglines, headlines, and long-form content that aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Adapt tone and style to fit different brands, audiences, and campaign goals.
Collaboration & Concept Development
- Work closely with designers, art directors, and strategists to develop innovative creative concepts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh campaign ideas.
- Collaborate with account managers to understand client needs and translate briefs into effective messaging.
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit copy for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and advertising standards.
- Optimize copy for SEO, digital marketing, and audience engagement.
Research & Insights
- Research target audiences, industry trends, and competitor strategies.
- Stay updated on advertising trends, cultural insights, and emerging marketing techniques.
- Use data and feedback to refine copy and improve campaign effectiveness.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in copywriting (advertising agency experience preferred).
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to write for multiple formats and platforms (digital, print, video, radio, social media).
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.
